I&#8217;m always a bit wary to take the tapes out <span style=\"background-color:#E8E8E8\">seeing as some of them are older than I am<\/span> but I think they have actually held up rather well. Sure, it would be lovely not to fiddle around with the tracking but I can deal with the fuzzy picture and iffy sound!<br\/><br\/> It isn&#8217;t like I can afford those new fangled DVD&#8217;s. They are prohibitive in price! Not to mention the fact I would have to traipse all the way out to a Best Buy just to have the option of buying either <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stones_of_Blood\">Stones of Blood<\/a> or *gasp* <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Keeper_of_Traken\">The Keeper of Traken<\/a>.  I also imagine it is only a matter of time before DVD&#8217;s are phased out by Blu-ray so I will wait to avoid hasty purchases.<br\/><br\/>\r\n\r\n\r\n <h2><span style=\"color:#cc6666\">A marathon night of Doctor Who is planned.<\/span><\/h2>\r\n<br\/><br\/>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m dying to bust out some archaic media and watch Doctor Who!
