This is why I turn out half finished works with no purpose or use like this one, <span style=\"background-color:#E8E8E8\">a slapdash TARDIS in a pastel nightmare.<\/span><br\/><br\/> It isn&#8217;t that I don&#8217;t recognize the value of careful planning. It is more that there is no reason to plan. <br\/><br\/>\r\nWhich leads me to question why I make these little drawings. <span style=\"background-color:#E8E8E8\">If there is no reason to plan them why spend time on the drawings at all?<\/span> It is a question that I don&#8217;t really have an answer for. I could say they bring me joy, but I sometimes think they are merely a distraction or a diversion used to fill time. <br\/><br\/>Frequently, I draw when I&#8217;m stressed, cannot sleep, and am mulling over a problem&#8230;<br\/><br\/>\r\n<span style=\"color:#cc6666\"><strong>Maybe I have a strong desire to make something even if it is bad.<\/strong><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"When I sit down to draw I almost never have a plan or an idea.
