Of course, around here it isn&#8217;t unheard of for it to snow in May. I imagine in a few days it will snow 12 inches and I&#8217;ll return to my den to hibernate.<br\/><br\/>\r\nAt the moment I&#8217;m feeling energetic and capable. <span style=\"color:#cc6666\">I want to paint again.<\/span> I have some acrylics as always but oil paint is what I desire. Painting is expensive in any media, brushes, paint thinner, canvas, paints it all adds up. So, I&#8217;ll have to wait until I&#8217;ve found my new job to indulge myself.<br\/><br\/>\r\nCommissions aren&#8217;t going so well <span style=\"color:#cc6666\">(with the exception of <a href=\"http:\/\/moon-gem.com\/?p=2599\">Perixel<\/a>)<\/span>. I had hoped to do a large oil painting (36&#8243;x24&#8243;), but as I don&#8217;t have supplies, and I know the payment I would get wouldn&#8217;t cover the purchase of materials. It doesn&#8217;t look like it will happen. I would lose money and a lot of time.<br\/><br\/>\r\n<span style=\"color:#cc6666\"><strong>For now I&#8217;m off to hunt for jobs, dig up commissions, and volunteer to be rejected  <img src=\"http:\/\/moon-gem.com\/wp-content\/gallery\/kao_emoticons\/kao_lol.gif\" alt=\":lol:\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/>  .<\/strong><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"I&#8217;ve survived another winter!
