Hmmm… its true… except for the man part. I’m a lady dammit!
Some Brave Apollo
I know my life seems abhorrently dull, however, occasionally I do get out. Awhile back I went to a Flight of the Conchord’s, concert. That’s right, Elizabeth Duckland West
It was a lot more unnerving than the last concert I went to. My seat did not exist so, I had to improvise by sitting near where my seat should have been. It was actually a pretty good seat. It wasn’t floor seating or anything but I could see behind the scenes. I saw Bret and Jemaine behind stage and was able to make lame observations like, “Damn, Bret sure is sweating a lot. I hope he is okay.”
Though photography was prohibited. People took photo’s with flash throughout the concert. I took a small photo on my mobile with no flash before the show started. It came out rather poorly. So I didn’t even attempt to photograph anything later.
Kristen Schaal (Mel) opened the concert with her stand up act. She wore shiny pants, was weird, awkward, and funny. Afterward, Bret and Jemaine came on stage in a partial robot costumes singing Too Many Dicks on the Dance Floor ( they umm had those disco ball things on as well Xp ).
I can’t remember how the set went exactly but they did sing Stana, The Bus Driver Song, Albi the Racist Dragon, The Bowie Song, Rhymnocerous vs Hiphopopotumus, and several others.
I was glad I went, even if I was paranoid I would have to relinquish my seat the entire time. The hecklers were bad. It was annoying when they demanded songs and shouted but I would certainly go to another Flight of the Conchords concert.
^ Elizabeth Duckland West, which may or may not refer to the name of this blogger. Most likely not. Dictated but not read.
Boxing
I got some boots in the mail today. They are cute and sassy and no one will ever see me in them I’m keeping the box to store paper in. It is quite large maybe 15 x11 inches. Someday, If someone gives me a sweet card, letter, or anything with any heart in it that will be where it goes. Until then, I hope it enjoys copious amounts of soulless Recycled Laser Paper, 8 1/2″ x 11″.
Blue Leaves
Anyways, my other tiled/patterned things can be found here

On to other topics I microwaved some curry for dinner last night. Except, it came out rather poorly. I just dropped a cube of curry roux in a bowl with water and hoped that it wouldn’t taste too bad. It was nearly edible
How the World Ended in 6 Short Months
Okay, the world didn’t end. I’m being melodramatic. After being dumped, graduating, and being terrified by the recession it certainly feels like the world ended.
Not that I thought I was the only one or anything but I was pleased to see this article on Slate. Yes, there are plenty of families going through tough times but there are also people just starting out who went to college, are swamped with the debt from education, and can’t find work or work in constant fear of loosing their jobs.
Hi, mom and dad guess what? Until I turn 35 I’m going to have to live with you because, well, I only make $400 dollars a month and you should of heard what happened when I asked for more hours at work, anyways, do you think you could lend me some money?
Somehow, I was tricked into thinking that, if I go to university, life would be better for me, instead, I’m doing nearly the same job I had in school (except I’m technically making less money). I don’t even know if I regret it either…
