Friday I got a tip on a job and scampered off to fill out an application. It was for a restaurant that I guess is pretty prominent in my state. I’d never heard of it before but I’d also never been to any of the cities they are located in. The ice was terrible in the parking lot. It was nearly impossible to access the little sidewalks surrounding the stores .


After that I got lunch at Panera’s and scribbled furiously for around 3 hours. I think I saw one of my professors from university but then he spoke to someone on his mobile and he didn’t sound familiar at all. It was really weird though because I swore he came into Panera’s through a side door, sat down, took out his laptop, and proceeded to use wifi without purchasing any food.

Maybe that is common practice. I generally don’t hang out in Panera’s so I really wouldn’t know. My meal came to about $13 so I suppose I paid enough for the both of us.

I was tempted to buy many cute things while I was out but refrained from making any purchases. Target had some really nice stuff in housewares. I think it was seasonal. It was pink and kind of girly. I suppose if I had my own place (and a job) I probably would have bought it.
