Lunar Lander
This might sound odd but there is totally a lunar lander module looking thing about 4 doors down from where I am at the moment

Okay, no photo. A small family got out of a car and blocked my view as I was walking by. Though I am curious about the family’s unique lawn art/ jungle gym. I doubt it is anything fun like a homemade lunar lander.

Geese
Yesterday, I saw two Canada Geese cuddling in an abandoned shopping plaza. They look cute snuggled in the decay of a nearby city but also very sad

Frak!
Frak! I frakking missed the beginning of the final episode of Battlestar Galactica. I turned the television to SCIFI only to find a massive battle occurring. I somehow missed that it was going to be a extra long episode. Granted, I really didn’t watch too much of the last episode it was all flashbacky. Still, I’m feeling a bit down about missing it. I kind of was disappointed with this season but I find it difficult to say anything bad about it. I didn’t like everything in Battlestar Galactica but it certainly is better than anything I could dream up. Although, I still maintain that in the beginning Battlestar Galactica was an awful lot like Macross (except this comparison is only drawn from watching a handful of Macross episodes one summer).
I seem to remember a lot of Japanese cartoons about space used something similar to FTL or Faster Than Light drives, in fact, I’m pretty sure that is exactly what was used on Macross. Leiji Matsumoto also had a cartoon that used a jump system (possibly Space Battleship Yamato). I can’t remember it’s name but there was a jump system and people looking for something or were on a mission and there were creepy alien things with a queen. I have no idea what the genesis of all of this is. It would be weird to thing it was the original version of Battlestar Galactica especially considering how uninspiring that program was…it does bring up a lot of questions though. I suppose FTL drives make sense and the genesis could nothing more than someone recognizing that space travel is slow and that in order to travel to extreme distances, say from one planet to another, that the ships need to create a wormhole or a portal and jump…but my understanding of sciencey things is limited. Yes, I may read a great number of books about quarks, atoms, and strings but I rarely retain any information.

Contemplating
I keep thinking that on my days off that I might go shopping or finally get my library card. For some reason I never manage to go. Maybe today I will…
