Sick.

The last few days I’ve been feeling increasingly ill. I keep losing my voice randomly and having sneezing fits. Today I had a terrible headache, nausea, and chills. After work I came home, took an Excedrin PM, slept for an hour, and woke up magically cured of the chills and nausea. My headache waned a bit too!

I’m still not feeling very well but hopefully it isn’t anything several hours of sleep can’t fix.

I’m probably not going to get it though.

So Let’s Travel to the World of Materialism…

Looking better... on Twitpic

On a quick trip to Target (for something I honestly can’t remember at this point) I impulsively purchased a decorative throw. It was in the back-to-school/college section and it’s pattern caught my eye! So cute! The green, teal, and orange don’t exactly go with my room but it serves its purpose as a decorative item and at $9.98

Even though the item is depicted as being thrown over a couch or a bed I’m using mine to block the sun! It covers up my nasty old drapes and makes me feel all cheery every time I see it. Money well spent.

Mobile Post Test

Testing my ability to post on the road. WordPress’s application is difficult to use as a connection is impossible without turning off the firewall. Really, what is the point of having an app that only works when you completely expose yourself to attack?

After completing this drawing I found it a little too depressing. This would have been the third drawing including Tori from “The Arbitrary Life of Nictoria” but I was partially afraid that the image of a girl clutching a bloody rag to her arm might give people the wrong idea (mainly that it was her wrist and not her arm that was wounded). So, I removed the girl completely and am left with a weird looking sink. Classy.

It was created with Expression 3 and touched up on Adobe Photoshop Elements.

As for myself…

I’m alive, working, drawing a bit, pitching ideas to uninterested parties, and reading far too many comics.

It’s been over a month since I’ve posted something here and while I have been busy I haven’t really accomplished anything. I can report that there have been no illnesses, major purchases, incidents, alien abductions, close encounters, proposals, or arrests. Simply put my life is as ever much the same as it always was.

Today’s capstone is just a drawing I worked on this week. I thought about including some script but ultimately couldn’t come up with anything I felt fit. If it looks at all familiar (provided you are a regular) it may be because of this post :link: . It’s Tori from “The Arbitrary Life of Nictoria”. Look for upcoming appearances of Puddles the hamster :3 .
