Games

Games (Sword)

As usual I’m busy with commissions. I haven’t had a lot of free time but I wanted to make sure I finished a capstone before the month was over. Please enjoy :) !

$3.50

journal Unfortunately, I’m entirely aware of the lack of visitors on this site. It’s probably for the best considering the inane and pointless drivel I type; however, I’ve decided to sell a little journal I designed the cover for on cafepress.com in the hopes that someone (other than my self) might purchase it and thereby support my desire not to be in the red in the following months.

Look, it’s quite lovely! Really, it has pages and an image on the cover…and for every journal that is purchased I make…$3.50.

Do I expect anyone to actually buy one? No. Not really. I’m just bored and the fast food places I’ve applied at to get a second job aren’t returning my calls Xp .

Fly Away

bubble Worked on this last night while I couldn’t sleep. I was up until at least 5am. Debt monsters threatened to chase me in my dreams. So, I parked myself in front of my computer and began to draw. Wanting to escape produced this I suppose.

Bubble is a simple vector drawing. It didn’t take very long to make so I’m sure you can see a lot of mistakes in the full view version. I wanted the girl in it to look sassy and kind of indifferent. Originally she wasn’t floating away with the bubble but I thought it would be a cute twist. Ignore the fact it is impossible ^^; . I’m rather pleased with the way it turned out, though, her hair and face reminds me a little of a monkey.

Flurry

I think I mentioned in a previous post that I’ve been churning out a lot of artwork lately :link: . I’ve been moody, cranky, and committed to completing the little images that pop into my head.

suddenly yesterday This is, Suddenly Yesterday. It is my most recent vector drawing. I had a lot of fun working on this over a period of two days. The expression of the little boy and the floating house are my favorite parts. I probably will continue to tweak the buildings. Adding more details and correcting mistakes.

After After, is clearly another vector drawing. I’m partial to it as well. A girl singing on a stool. Something soulful I’m sure. I wish my hair was wavy like that! My favorite detail is the tiny feet.

kat This drawing didn’t come out the way I intended. Titled, Kat, after Katherine Hamlet it vaguely refers to Ophelia. The body of the girl is more awkward than bodies usually are in my drawings and it looks almost like she’s hanging from the branches, which, was never my intention.

Happy Girl

happy Drawing again~ I drew a sketch on a blank piece of printer paper yesterday. It was, a bit mod-steampunk inspired. Of course, after I started working on it on my computer it took the look of something else entirely. I certainly wouldn’t look at it and say either of those words now. Maybe Victorian-bustle-hobo-chic? I’m not a fashion designer or really an artist or a historian. So my classificatory skills are questionable. I’m going to tentatively call this work, “Happy”.
