TARDIS vs. Dalek Salt and Pepper Shakers

I tried to take a photo of the Christmas present my dad got me in the snow, but, as it was freezing outside and I haven’t a tripod, this was the best I could manage.
It looks a bit like a colorized version of the classic Doctor Who series if you squint your eyes.
So, photography at 2 AM isn’t my forte, but the ceramic TARDIS and Dalek are rather adorable and being that they are ceramic I think I’ll set them on a shelf to admire rather than to season my meal. I’ll just need to invest it a shelf first

ThinkGeek is sold out so I’m not sure where my dad got them but I imagine it was Books A Million or the local toy store.
Exterminate!

I decided I liked the above image better than the original which is still included in this post and in the capstone gallery.
I’ve been watching Ancient Aliens on the History Channel. At first I was convinced they only had one episode. Apparently, that one episode was the pilot and there are now enough episodes to have marathons which I have dutifully watched in my free time and learned all about how I’m an alien and have magic DNA just like everyone else (score!)

The brunette’s arms are just wrong. When I draw bodies there is usually nothing human about them but even I can’t look past this oddity

^ Come to think of it, “I’m an Alien and Have Magic DNA (just like everyone else)” might be a good book title.
