Not Allerleirauh
Everything seems a bit dire at the moment. I’m working on an original drawing to make prints of. It’s my first time using copics on a gessoed masonite board. While working on it I found myself lamenting how few markers I have but there really isn’t much I can do about that. Other than lack of color choice I’m happy with the results
. I decided to do a fairytale like drawing for the piece mostly because I wanted Kyu to be wearing an animal costume in the background. I didn’t want it to be anything too ferocious, just a costume that would warrant an expression of distaste. Fluffy bear seemed to fit the bill.
Perhaps Tori and The Brunette are princesses and Kyu is Allerleirauh.

Now that I think about it Allerleirauh was a princess too wasn’t she? No, no, so much is wrong with that fairytale…
Maybe I will work on a series of prints and have a story to go with them

Brunch
This is today’s brunch
. It’s imitation crab salad on toasted Italian bread, fruit salad, and sugar-free lemonade. I made a video and took a series of photos of me making it… but after playing back a bit of the video I decided to never film myself doing anything ever again. I kind of looked like I might chop a finger off at any moment while I was cutting the onion 
. Scary!Not exactly a thrilling post… but I think the photos turned out well

Be Happy
. There, I saw cutest bag of cat food. It’s called, “Be Happy”. I’m not sure what any of the claims, flavors, or benefits of it are for cats though. I just like the design of the bag .
I don’t have a cat, and I’m not really the sort of person to be swayed into purchase food items based on cuteness, so I snapped a couple of photos.
Ahhh! It almost makes me wish I had a kitten until I remember babysitting for people with cats… vicious cats…
So, I’ll just be satisfied looking at photos and drawings of cute cats and kittens online
. Plus, I have Lunches and she’s all the cute I need until I can find a piggy friend for her!
Please excuse how rushed today’s capstone is. I’m working on commissions but really want to keep up with frequent posts

Summer Breeze
Today’s capstone is another outfit inspired image with a teddy bear/ rilakkuma clone visitor
. Looking at it now I think I might go back and edit the hands. It looks like I got lazy and added a stuffed animal to avoid drawing the hands… but they are there (simplistic but there). The pastel heart earrings remind me of all the cheap and cute earrings I had growing up. The sort of ones I wish I hadn’t lost or let tarnish. I don’t think I ever owned anything quite as cute though
.
Thursday’s Lunch
I’ve been eating at my desk and trying to get commissions done. Currently, I’m in the process on fixing some definite designs and creating some new pieces as well. In some sense, I’m busy, but being busy doesn’t always mean you are making a profit.
Anyways, my lunch started out as spoiled onions and mushrooms with oil and vinegar which wasn’t filling or delicious. So, I made Myojo Chicken Udon Noodle Soup with half a packet of soup base (to cut back the sodium) and a mug of iced vanilla caramel something or other from a very old tin of General Foods International Coffees (it still tasted good to me
). The meal was yummy but was entirely lacking in the healthy department aside from the 7g of protein.
It was, however, very inexpensive (99¢) . Balancing the bowl of soup away from the keyboard and wacom tablet was more than a little challenging. Thankfully, I didn’t spill on any important peripherals. Take that fax machine! You are nearly obsolete!
